About Kelly

I am a Jacksonville native that has always had a passion for the beauty of photography. A great picture can tell such a story! I love focusing on my subject's eyes - really getting into their heart and soul and capturing the uniqueness of that person - bringing out who they really are. This is what makes a great photograph.

I offer you my style that is a blend of photo-journalism and traditional. You'll never see me forcing you into a certain pose. You'll never hear me say "Cheese!" What you will see me do is follow you around with my camera, looking at you from all angles - taking random shots, which you might think will never turn out good. Oh, but they will! Those are the best shots - trust me! And when it comes time for the more traditional "frame-worthy" shots, I will make it fun and relaxed. No pressure. I also prefer to shoot in natural surroundings, in the simple beauty of our world.

So... a little about me! I currently reside in Saint Augustine with my supportive husband... the one that really pushed me into a photography career! He gave me my 1st camera and he gave me the confidence to pursue my love. We have 2 spoiled Yorkies, Cooper and Scooter, and an African Gray parrot, Sydney. We love to travel and have been blessed to visit many beautiful places, including Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Jackson Hole, Colorado, North Carolina and Costa Rica. We love entertaining and having our friends over for parties and grilling out. I'm a simple, down-to-earth girl and in my spare time I like to curl up in my pajamas with a good book, scrapbook, shop, spend time with family and friends and watch movies.

Throughout my life and many ventures, I have found joy in taking photographs of the experience. I am always the one on vacation or at a party with the camera! After hearing all of the "wow's" from my friends and family, I realized that it would be fulfilling to create lasting memories for other people - where I could instantly create a vivid memory of that moment - a timeless heirloom. I become as giddy as a child, when I hand over an album to a client - seeing the expressions & emotion on their faces! I am truly honored to have created heirlooms to my many past clients - and I hope to keep it going!
