• So we're ready to take pictures! Where do we go and what time?
  You choose the location for your photo session. There are several beautiful parks and beaches that I like to photograph at, depending on the “look” you are going for.

  *Currently I am only available for photo sessions on Saturday or Sunday. I prefer to schedule the sessions in the early evening hours. In case of rain or bad weather, I will contact you and we will re-schedule as soon as possible.

• What should we wear?
  Keep it simple! Too much pattern and color variations looks cluttered and takes the focus away from your pretty faces! For couples and families, simple solids and prints is best- the end result is a soft, unified look. Soft, muted colors look the best i.e. pale blue, green, white, tan, and khaki. For newborns, a solid one-piece or even just a diaper is a classic baby look. Liven it up for the older kids- but just remember that “Simple is better" in terms of fashion. This goes for the feet, too! Bare feet are encouraged for all children and even for adults, if you are comfortable with it. This is especially true for sessions on the beach. Who wants sand in their shoes?!

• What should I bring?
  I do not rely on props, but feel free to bring anything that is sentimental that you would like to show in the pictures with your child, i.e. a special toy, blanket, book, etc.

• How long will our session last?
  Typical sessions last about an hour to 1 ½ hour. Please try to be relaxed and stress-free when you arrive for your session. Since my style is mostly journalistic, I like to catch children in their natural state- playing, laughing, silly faces, etc!

  For family portraits, just interact with your children as you normally would at home- I want to see you all laughing and enjoying yourselves! I will give you some direction but most of it will be relaxed and care-free.

• When do I pay you?
  The portrait fee is due at the end of your photo session. I accept cash or check at this time.

• What is your turn-around time?
  It usually takes 2-3 weeks to receive your 10 keepsake images. I will e-mail you or call you when it is ready.

  After you make your selections for reprints and enlargements, the turn around time is about 2-3 weeks.
